Mess Manager is a shared-living expense and meal management app for a single household ("mess"). This page explains what information the app handles and, specifically, how it uses Google account access.
This data is stored in a Supabase project dedicated to this app, transmitted over encrypted connections, and visible only to the members of the same mess workspace. An admin can permanently delete all of it at any time from Settings → Reset workspace.
An admin may connect a Google account once, from Settings → "Connect Google Drive". This is entirely optional and only affects the "Download Sheets" feature.
When connected, the app is granted permission to:
The app never reads, lists, or modifies any other file already in that Google account's Drive. The only files it ever touches are the Sheets it created itself for mess bazar and settlement data. This connection can be revoked at any time from myaccount.google.com/permissions, which immediately stops the app from creating or updating any further Sheets.
